The Montclair Music Studio is proud to introduce piano instructor Paul Raucci.

Mr. Raucci, who has recently joined our staff, has been teaching piano for 8 years. He studies Jazz Performance at Montclair State University and will be graduating in 2024.

Paul resides in Little Falls and has been studying the piano since the age of 6. He believes in personalizing the lessons in creative ways by adopting a teaching approach that matches each student’s style of learning.

Getting to Know Paul…

What brought on your interest in music?

I was born into a musical family, so music has been a big part of my life since day one.

When did you start your studies?

I began studying the piano at the age of 6.

Was your family involved in music?

Yes, my father is a musician also, so it is sort of “in my DNA”.

Have You Participated in Any Extra Curricular Organizations or music clubs?

Yes, many of them include after school activities in High School, combos, gigging on the side etc. I have also played in orchestra pits for theater and with rock cover bands.

What are other types of instruments in your repertoire?

Along with the piano, I am also a proficient drummer.

Any favorite hobbies other than music?

I like to build computers and I like dirt biking and quadding.
